1. Local file processing
Files you open—including spreadsheets, CSV, TSV, delimiter-separated text, JSON and XML—are parsed and transformed locally in your browser. MorphoGrid does not upload your datasets to a MorphoGrid-operated server and does not require a database.
2. Information stored on your device
The extension may use Chrome extension storage for settings, saved recipes, transformation recovery state, AI provider configuration, privacy preferences, trial or license entitlement information, and recent local workflow metadata. This information remains in your Chrome profile unless you choose a feature that contacts an external service.
3. Local AI through Ollama
When Ollama is enabled, MorphoGrid connects to the Ollama service on localhost or 127.0.0.1. Requests stay on the device or network environment where you configured Ollama. Your Ollama installation and selected model are governed by their respective terms.
4. Optional cloud AI
OpenAI, Anthropic Claude and OpenRouter are optional Pro integrations. Before any dataset content is sent to a cloud provider, MorphoGrid displays a warning and requires your affirmative permission. If approved, only the context assembled for that request is sent directly from the extension to the provider you selected. Those providers process information under their own privacy policies and terms. MorphoGrid does not proxy or retain the request.
5. License validation
If you activate a paid license, the extension may contact Lemon Squeezy to validate the license against configured product variants. License keys and validation metadata are used only to determine entitlement. Lemon Squeezy handles that information under its own terms.
6. Permissions
- Storage: saves settings, recipes, recovery state and entitlement details locally.
- Side panel: opens MorphoGrid from Chrome’s side panel and launches the full workspace.
- Host access: permits direct connections only to configured Ollama, AI-provider and license-validation endpoints.
7. Data sale, advertising and tracking
MorphoGrid does not sell personal information, does not use datasets for advertising, and does not include cross-site behavioral tracking. The extension does not collect browsing history.
8. Retention and deletion
Because local settings are stored in your Chrome profile, you can remove them using MorphoGrid’s reset controls or by uninstalling the extension. Information sent to an optional third-party service is subject to that provider’s retention controls.
9. Children
MorphoGrid is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when product behavior or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@builtbykris.com.
